Bhutan’s first ITES/BPO Careers Fair will take place on Tuesday, 29th January 2019 at the Thimphu TechPark, Babesa. The fair provides an opportunity for Bhutanese people seeking a professional career with foreign employers to register and be considered by current and incoming BPO locators. The BIABPO Talent Development Committee Chair, Sonam Choki said “The Careers Fair aligns with BIABPOs mission of job creation, especially for our youth. Exposure to business practices and software used by businesses in Singapore, Australia, the United States and other countries advanced business infrastructure will provide training and learning opportunities as well as stable income and employment.”

The nascent BPO industry in Bhutan is now ripe to create new and sustainable jobs for Bhutanese youth, to empower the Bhutanese economy by bringing more wealth to the nation through creating a substantial new services export industry and to improve social stability and decentralization of employment opportunities.
